Morning Munchies

I am taking a quick break from some tedious, eye-crossing spreadsheet work that I have been doing.

Today have been stressful. A lot of people at my husbands company got let go and as a result his sales territory was restructured. I am thankful that he still has his job. But now his “local” territory can takes him a lot further from home. A 2 hour commute to reach customers is a long ways to go to and from in a day. Not to mention the gas and mileage on a car (for now he has a company car, but they plan to change that within the next year). I am definitely worried about the wear and tear on Brian too.

And on top of it all it has been one of those days where I feel like my office is a toxic environment, and I am probably contributing as well.

I had the munchies all morning. I tried munching on some crackers, but they didn’t hit the spot. I stopped at 2 to find something more satisfying.

I ended up eating some peanuts and cashews.

And I totally gave into my Coca-Cola craving.

By 12:30 I was so ready for lunch.

I nuked a potato and topped it with a little bit of butter. I also nuked some Green Giant Broccoli and Cheese Sauce, only 60 calories per serving.

I also chopped up a couple slices of turkey to make sure I stayed full through the afternoon.

And as a sweet treat I ate a Kit Kat.

These are my fave and I have a bagful between my house and office to eat. And I just can waste them!

Tonight is dinner with Pawpaw! I didn’t see him last week so I am looking forward to our time together.
